Growing Hearts is working with our community to create a succulent garden unrivaled in California. The garden will be built inside of the Vista Park Hill Community Garden and will showcase San Benito County's cultural history. We will be working on the project in 2021.
Small space gardening, fruit trees, and all kinds of edible plants! Our organization is devoted to community based projects that will provide employment for adults with special needs while also giving back.
Growing Hearts has an outdoor classroom at the Community Garden in Hollister, located on top of Vista Park Hill. The Community Garden is where we do much of our gardening skill development, growing fruits, vegetables, & flowers.
Thank you Meg Groeling and husband Robert for opening your home to us and allowing us to teach, love, and be creative in your new beautiful rose garden. Community can do all things when the right people find the right need and work together.
A brand new addition to our projects, the Vista Park Hill New Garden was built in place of an old homeless encampment. With the help of the county and community volunteers, we were able to pull out 3,000+ pounds of garbage and began growing fruits, vegetables, flowers, and succulents in raised boxes.
